“I have been seeing a Christine, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, at Clearwave for over a year and it is the first time in my mental health journey where I feel like I am being listened to and I included in the decisions that are made about my medication. I am just completing a round of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) sessions. At first I was hesitant because committing to coming to the office 36 times (3-5 times a week) for TMS seemed like too much, but I am so glad that I did. Initially, my insurance denied the authorization for services, but Dr. Robinson appealed the decision and based on her input, decided to approve the TMS treatment. Not only have my symptoms improved, but each session was facilitated by a member of the amazing staff! The staff was welcoming and kind, always making sure that I was comfortable and safe during the treatment. I would absolutely recommend Clearwave Mental Health...My quality of life has improved because my symptoms are better managed since I began treatment with Clearwave!”

“Providers are great, but their billing team are crooks. They have charged me for appointments twice, charged me for other patient's services, and although they refunded those issues, they did not refund me when they changed NPI on my billing, rendering them no longer covered by my insurance for 2 appointments. I'd been going to them all year, and even once after this, at a $20 copay, but for these 2 appointments they charged me $200 each!!! They refuse to adjust the billing (I understand this might not be possible at this point), or refund me, which they should do. Despite having the appointments through the Headway app (who is contracted with my insurance) as I had done all year, Headway says Clearwave cancelled those appointments so they have no record of them occurring. Both Clearwave and Headway keep telling me to submit to my insurance, but if I do, my insurance is clear that they will be billed out of network and I will owe even MORE than the self-pay rate. My credit card company will not dispute the charges either, since services were rendered. Both my wife and I attended all year, about once a month, and my wife did TMS treatment. Altogether, they made a lot of money off of us. We're both no longer patients there. I recommend you steer clear, as they have no integrity or care for their patients. If you do not watch their billing like a hawk, you will be robbed.”
